Euros kick off QS season on top form!

I'm at home in Vigo at the moment. The weather's been really shit, like non-stop rain. But the waves have been pumping the last few days so it's all good... good winds, good swell and nobody in the water. There's no place like home hey!

Anyway, thought I'd give you guys the lowdown on the first big legs of this year's QS season. The tour has got off to a really exciting start for the Euros with some solid results in the bag in Brazil. Aritz Aranburu won the 5*QS prime event and Patrick Beven placed third in the 6* contest in Florianopolis. That's an amazing beginning to the year for those guys who are now leading the charge. Tiago Pires didn't do too badly either with a quarter finals finish in Florianopolis. The rest of us weren't up to much in those first big contests but we're keeping our heads up and more amped than ever. The tour has only just started and it's going to be a long year. We're hoping to do better in the next few events, and above all in the European legs many of which will carry more stars/points this year and should play to our advantage.
On 28th March, we're all off to Oz to compete in the 3 QS events over there, two in Newcastle and one in Margaret River! Wish us luck and stay tuned for more updates on the tour.

Hola Surf Europe!
Aqui en casa en Vigo el tiempo esta malisimo... No para de llover. Pero bueno las olas han estado muy bien estos dias, buen viento, buen swell y poca gente en el agua... Se esta bien en casa.
El wqs tour 2007 va a ser muy excitante para los Europeos sobre todo por los resultados obtenidos en Brasil por parte de Aritz Aranburu campeon del 5 estrellas prime y el tercer puesto de Patrick Beven en el 6 estrellas de Florianopolis. Muy buen comienzo de año para ellos que encabezan el circuito wqs en este momento. Tiago Pires llego a quartos de final en Florianopolis,un buen resultado tambien. Los demas europeos no lo hemos hecho tan bien en estos primeros campeonatos pero estamos motivados y centrados, el circuito acaba de empezar y el año va a ser muy largo, esperamos hacerlo mejor en las siguientes pruebas,y sobre todo en las de europa,que muchas han subido de estrellas,cosa que nos viene a todos muy bien.
El 28 de este mes nos vamos a Australia a competir en los tres wqs,dos en newcastle y uno en margaret river!!desearnos suerte a todos!!!
