What a Graylord

Back in the UK with a bang and after a few months without serious curry I was pretty much on intrevenous spices as soon as Captain pulled into Tyneside. That's nice! Tested the realms of what was surfable yesterday up in Scotland at Pease Bay. Not in terms of crazy boom-backed ledges or super - massive swells. No it was pretty much knee high sets barely capping at the boulder point. Didn't stop around 15 keen 'shredders' josling for everything that moved. Aloha! Work is now in motion for this years' Surf Solutions' Hawaii Project. I leave with the team a week on Saturday and expect some solid reports from what the British Juniors get up to on the North Shore and around. On these shores it's contest city at the moment with a different comp each weekend down in Cornwall and elsewhere. Folks are doing heats every weekend as if they're on the 'QS programme. Some of them maybe think they are. Hawaii will shake some reality as ever into any pretenders.
