Welsh Team Coach had Mark Vaughan commented, “All three girls featured strongly at last years European championships, especially when the waves were bigger and the girls are more than capable of bring home medals and I wish them good luck for the games.” For Jo and Gemma this will be the first time they’ve been selected for Britain and both are understanbably delighted, whilst Beth will lend valuable experience as she represents for the third time. All three girls are seeking financial assistance for the event as the Team are having to finance their own travel and accommodation costs, if you are interested in supporting the girls please contact the Welsh Surfing Federation as per the details below.
