The Headworx English Junior Surf Team showed off some outstanding surfing ability yesterday which was seen in the most testing of conditions seen so far. The contest was held throughout the day with an early start of 8am for the surfers, the conditions were hard, with contenders surfing in solid 4-6ft surf with gale force winds.

Mulanovich Takes Vans Triple Crown Lead after Op Pro Hawaii Win

Former world champion Sofia Mulanovich (Peru) returned to the winner's podium at Haleiwa today after posting a victory in the Op Pro Hawaii, the first event of the annual Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. It was Mulanovich's first win since the US Open at Hungtington Beach in July. The 23-year-old, from Lima, had her work cut out for her today, clashing with the hottest rising talent from around the world in smooth but small North Shore surf.
