The International Roxy Surf Team will be paying a visit to South West France this week. Sofia Mulanovich (Peru), 2004 world champion, Chelsea Georgeson (Australia), 2005 world champion, and Hawaiian Megan Abubo are currently in South West France to dispute the French leg of the WCT.

The Hot Tuna ‘Summer of 69’ BPSA UK Tour Event took place this weekend at the scenic Porthmeor Beach in St Ives. More than 120 surfers over five divisions came to take part in this, the 4th leg of the tour, in 3-4 ft surf over the bank holiday weekend.

The Corona Hawaiian Open leg of the U.S. Pro Longboarding Championships took place over August 23-26 at Kuhio Beach Waikiki, Oahu. Local surfer Ned Snow blazed to victory at Kuhio Beach today in the all-Hawaiian finals of the men's division of the Corona Hawaiian Open, winning $4,000 and denying his friend and fellow Waikiki-based longboarder, Kai Sallas, a chance at capturing the US championship title.
