The O’Neill Sebastian Inlet Pro

The first stop of the 2007 surfing season will be taking place from January 5-11 with the O’Neill Sebastian Inlet Pro at Florida’s premiere surfing break, situated inside Sebastian Inlet State Park. The 4-star rated ASP-sanctioned World Qualifying Series event offers a $75,000 cash purse and points leading to qualification on the ASP’s elite World Championship Tour. The O’Neill SI Pro will play host to a field of 144 surfers that will include many of the top professionals including Cory Lopez, Timmy Reyes, Damien and CJ Hobgood, and Florida locals Alek Parker, Tommy O'Brien, and Kyle Garson.

The Headworx English Junior Surf Team showed off some outstanding surfing ability yesterday which was seen in the most testing of conditions seen so far. The contest was held throughout the day with an early start of 8am for the surfers, the conditions were hard, with contenders surfing in solid 4-6ft surf with gale force winds.

Mulanovich Takes Vans Triple Crown Lead after Op Pro Hawaii Win

Former world champion Sofia Mulanovich (Peru) returned to the winner's podium at Haleiwa today after posting a victory in the Op Pro Hawaii, the first event of the annual Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. It was Mulanovich's first win since the US Open at Hungtington Beach in July. The 23-year-old, from Lima, had her work cut out for her today, clashing with the hottest rising talent from around the world in smooth but small North Shore surf.

The 3rd Annual North Shore Tow-In Surfing Championship 2006-2007 are ‘ON’ once again for the upcoming 2006/2007 Winter Big Wave Surf Season on Oahu in Hawaii. The holding period for the event will be December 15th, 2006 -March 31st, 2007, with the actual contest to take place ONE DAY ONLY on the biggest and best day of Surf on the Outer Reefs known as Avalanche and Puaena Point which are over a mile outside of Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii.
