The Nixon High Tide Hold’Em

Koastal Kaos Surf Series Event #3 This Weekend
Round three of the eight-round No Fear Koastal Kaos Surf Series will take place adjacent to the South Jetty of Oceanside Harbor in California on Saturday and Sunday, December 30-31. Following the same “two series in one” format — the Koastal Kaos amateur series and the No Fear Airshow — the San Diego-concentrated surf tour will host both amateur and professional surfers.

For the second weekend in a row, The Totally Crustaceous Tour was bombed with a large Northwest swell. After giant closeout barrels at the Seaslug in Hermosa Pier last weekend, we headed up north for the Goldfish Surf Series Stop #2 at Pismo Pier and ran into some more smacking surf.

Lizzard International surf wear company, launching into Australia in 2007 have signed Gold Coast surfer Corey Ziems to their international surf team. Gavin Roberts, Lizzard team manager says, “Lizzard is stoked to have Corey on our team. I have seen him on tour and he really impressed me with his confidence and competitive drive and it won’t be long before we see him on the WCT”.
