The Bank of Hawaii North Shore Tow-In Surfing Championship kicked the tour into gear this weekend in high performance surf conditions at Puuena Point, Oahu, Hawaii. Surf ranged in the 12 to the 18-foot range, with some 30-foot faces Hawaiian-style.

Antonio Bortoletto is 2007 Quiksilver Goodwave Champ

In windy but hollow surf at the New Pier in Durban, South Africa, Antonio Bortoletto emerged victorious in the 2007 Quiksilver Goodwave. Scoring an epic wave in the beginning of the heat, Bortoletto kept the lead all the way through the final despite being chased hard by dark horse Gavin Roberts, and finished off strongly with a massive wave near the end of the final, blasting some huge and committed off-the-tops on his way to victory.
