Surfers Announced for Red Bull Big Wave Africa
Red Bull South Africa are pleased to announce the names of invitees for the Red Bull Big Wave Africa 2007. The number of invited athletes has been increased to 24 surfers - this allows for the inclusion of more locals as well as a greater mix of international surfers. Out of these invited athletes, 23 have been named and the last position is the 'hot-spot,' a wild-card opening for a final athlete to be chosen at the event organisers discretion.

Great Surf Predicted for UK Stop of Moskito Tour
After rocking France, Spain, and Portugal the 2007 Moskito Tour is on its way to Newquay. With great contest waves predicted for the coming weekend, UK grommets are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Moskito circus to blow into town and get the event underway. With many grom’s pre-registering for the event, via the Moskito Myspace page, the forthcoming weekend is looking to be packed with competitors surfing heats back to back.
British Longboard Champs
The UK Bank Holiday weekend played host to the British Longboard Championships organised by the British Surfing Association at Godrevy in Cornwall. The conditions were challenging throughout the day with strong wind and rain making it pretty miserable for spectators and competitors alike.
