ASP Europe Launches New Webcasts
Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) in Europe has been governing continental professional surfing since 1989. With a mission to highlight surfing, sponsors and event promoters in Europe, the ASP has been closely involved in the growth of the sport throughout its 18 years of existence.

Billed as the ultimate freesurf contest challenge, The Mission 2007 will set the stage for a hand-picked selection of the world’s best surfers to explore and tame French Polynesia’s heaviest reef breaks from 27th May – 4th June 2007.
Damien Hobgood - 2007 Billabong Pro Tahiti Champion
Globe International would like to congratulate team rider, and 2007 Billabong Pro Tahiti Champion, Damien Hobgood on his outstanding performance at Teahupoo. In solid 4-6 foot conditions, Damien defeated current World #1 Mick Fanning in a seesaw battle-complete with broken boards, lead changes and a last minute victory-to become the 2007 Billabong Pro Tahiti Champion.
Dates Set for Billabong Jeffrey’s Bay

Damien Hobgood Claims the Billabong Pro Tahiti Title
Damien Hobgood (USA) has been crowned the 2007 Billabong Pro Tahiti Champion after beating Foster’s ASP World Tour ratings leader Mick Fanning (AUS) in a last-minute victory in 5 to 7 foot (1.5 - 2 metre) surf at Teahupoo.
Nixon WTA Kicks Off First Challenge in Tahiti
Nixon is pleased to announce the first stop of The Nixon WTA at The Billabong Pro in Teahupoo, Tahiti. The Nixon WTA is a winner-take-all event awarding a custom, handcrafted Nixon valued at $10,000 at four Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Tour stops during the months of May, July, October and December. The four different Nixon WTA challenges include: heaviest wave at Teahupoo, Tahiti, the longest wave at J-Bay, South Africa, the longest tube in Mundaka, Spain, and the overall Triple Crown Winner from the North Shore of Oahu.
