Victory at Trestles

Lower Trestles, the venue for Stop No. 7 of 11 on the 2008 ASP World Tour, the Boost Mobile Pro presented by Hurley, scored a major victory last week when the California Coastal Commission voted 8-2 against the projected toll road that would cut through the San Mateo state park and have an adverse effect on the surf at Trestles. Surfers and environmentalists rallied last Wednesday when the CCC voted and the protests and petitions have paid off for the time being.
