Bundoran, Ireland

Surf profile

Bundoran picks up swell from any low 998 or deeper out west of the Donegal coast. All the waves in Donegal Bay are wide open to Westerly and Northwesterly swells, although a big S/W swell really lines up the lefts on the Peak into Indo-style perfection. S-E winds are offshore. Away from the Peak the Bundoran-South Donegal offers lots of variety in surfbreaks for every standard of surfing like Tullan Strand, 3D, Inside Left and Tullaghan.
