Nixon Surf Challenge, San Sebastian, Spain

Blessed with great weather, great waves and a cool relaxed contest vibe, the 9th edition of the Nixon Surf Challenge went down in San Sebastian, Spain last weekend 19th-21st September, with Casey Brown from Hawaii taking out the event to Eric Rebière (2nd), Kosh Kerr (3rd ) and Hira Terinatoofa (4th) in the finals. With San Sebastian's International Film Festival also happening the same weekend, the vibrant streets of Donostia were packed. Take a look at the wave riding action right here.

Surf Europe Awards

European pro surfers, surf industry bigwigs and assorted good time seekers enjoyed the stellar hospitality of the Casino d'Hossegor this 18th August to celebrate the continued evolution of surfing on our shores, with online voters across Europe and beyond honouring their favourite Male and Female Surfers, Best Video Part, Best Photo, New Kid on the Block and Lifetime Achievement in the Inaugural Surf Europe Readers' Choice Awards.
